Robert Radus I have been in a general accounting practice since 1977. Our firm's name is Clanton, Helfman, and Radus, CPA’s LLP. We provide a wide range of services from preparing books and records through complex tax planning and preparation for individuals and businesses. I also provide forensic examination of books and records (reverse engineering) to assist persons in family and business disputes. One of the main benefits of my practice is personal service. I normally call back my clients as soon as I finish my current call. I don't "hit the meter" when a client calls, because if my clients think they will get a bill every time they call, they won't. It's always best to know what your tax problems are prior to them getting out of hand or too late to fix. I will only bill for extra time if the question requires research or extended time to make complex calculations. I like to meet with new clients prior to beginning any work for them to decide if we are compatible to work together. I prepare over 2,000 business and individual tax returns each year, with a turn over rate of less than 10%. Many clients have been with us since we started practice--I prepare the tax and accounting work for the second and third generation of our clients. I don't do any advertising. I have always found the best source of referrals are from existing clients and our relationships with LeTip members. Good referrals for us are anyone you know who is looking for a personalized service, whether it is for simple income tax preparation, preparing business records for financial and tax reasons, and consulting on business or tax decisions. Another service we provide is forensic accounting- the process of discovering and prevention of employee theft. These assignments are usually for a single problem and are done in conjunction with your other professional advisors.
